BTS Limited Lifetime Warranty

Brian’s Truck Shop warranties the internal workmanship and assembly of BTS custom-built transmissions against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser.

This warranty applies only to the BTS-built transmission assembly and does not cover damage caused by external factors, including but not limited to:

• Improper installation

• Tuning or programming issues

• Driveline or driveshaft failure

• Electrical or sensor-related faults

• Overheating

• Contaminated fluid

• Cooler flow restrictions or contaminated coolers/lines

• Abuse, racing, competition use, or neglect

• Failure of related vehicle components

• Use of non-BTS components

Warranty coverage is limited to the BTS transmission assembly only and does not include labor, towing, freight/shipping, installation or removal costs, downtime, rental expenses, loss of use, or consequential damages of any kind.

Installation & Tuning Requirements

BTS transmissions are frequently shipped nationwide and installed by third-party shops. Installation by a shop other than Brian’s Truck Shop does not automatically void warranty coverage.

However, Brian’s Truck Shop is not responsible for issues caused by improper installation, tuning, programming, driveline problems, electrical faults, contaminated coolers, converter-related issues, or failures of related vehicle systems.

Failure to properly flush or replace transmission coolers, lines, filters, and related components prior to installation may void warranty coverage.

If a drivability, shifting, pressure, slipping, or performance concern is reported, BTS reserves the right to require diagnostic data, tuning information, inspection documentation, fluid samples, or additional testing before determining whether the issue is related to the transmission assembly itself.

Misdiagnosis by outside shops, improper tuning, failure to follow BTS installation procedures, or continued operation of the vehicle after symptoms occur may void warranty coverage.

Unauthorized Disassembly

Any warranty claim must be approved by Brian’s Truck Shop prior to repair or disassembly.

Disassembly, teardown, inspection, or repair of the transmission by any individual or shop other than Brian’s Truck Shop without prior authorization will void all warranty coverage.

Transfer of Warranty

BTS transmissions are custom-built specifically for the individual vehicle and application they were originally purchased for. Because of this, warranty transfers to a new owner are not automatically approved.

Any transfer of warranty must be reviewed and approved by Brian’s Truck Shop on a case-by-case basis. Proof of original purchase documentation and vehicle information will be required. BTS reserves the right to deny warranty transfer requests at its sole discretion.

Warranty is valid only through Brian’s Truck Shop. All warranty determinations are made solely by Brian’s Truck Shop upon inspection of the transmission and related components.
